Winters & Faux Fur

Coming from a place nestled in the Himalayas, I have always been a lover of Winters. Those cute mittens and beanies, the graceful hats and overcoats, the warm Parkas and beloved boots, cozy pretty knit wears. Everyone loves them. Isn't it?
Oh and not to forget the warm Faux Fur which adds that element of sophistication to one's outfit. I had always adored people wearing them but was never confident to wear it as I was afraid that I might end up looking like a sheep. (Trust me I'm not lying). Finally this December, when I was walking in the chaotic lanes of Sarojini Nagar Market at Delhi with my dear friend Namie, I stumbled across a Faux Fur sweater and decided to try it myself. So here I am sharing how I teamed up my Faux Fur sweater this winter.

I wanted to keep my outfit monochrome hence I teamed up my Faux Fur sweater with a plain black flowy Peter pan collar dress. The collar of the dress adds block colour to the neckline which brings the sweater in focus. Also I made a low bun as keeping the hair open would make the outfit look very bulky at the top. And for makeup I always like keeping it minimal. Hence just a pop of matte red lipstick to add some colour to the black and white ensemble.

I  have accessorized my outfit with a silver watch and a black box bag and teamed it up with plain black stockings and ankle boots to maintain the monochrome look.

I bought the sweater for 300 INR. One of my most valued finds while street shopping in Delhi.
I hope you liked the look. :)
